P&M Group Health and Safety Adviser
Effective Health & Safety is a combination of properly trained and qualified people working in a culture where Health & Safety is the responsibility of all. ISD are specialist sub-contractors operating in the construction industry. Health & Safety is the #1 priority for our clients, and it is ours too.
For that reason The P&M Group employ it’s own in-house Health and Safety Advisor. Graham Hill is a fully qualified Health and Safety Professional with many years of experience in the cold storage, fire wall and cladding industry. With a NEBOSH National Diploma Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety Graham is the competent person required by Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
Graham is responsible for the following:
- Day to day management and implementation of the group’s Health and Safety policy.
- Regular review of the Health and Safety policy including revisions and issue.
- Inspection and audits of the production facilities and site installations.
- Advice on installation site risk assessments.
- Producing risk assessments for all machinery and processes in the production areas.
- Internal Health and Safety Training.
- Arranging external Health and Safety Training as required eg CSCS,CPCS,SSSTS,UKPIA,IOSH-SPA Food and Drink, PASMA, Risk Assessment, First Aid and Fire Warden.
- Chairing quarterly Group Health and Safety Meeting and distribution of minutes.
- Issue of Health and Safety Bulletins and Instructions.
- Investigation and analysis of accidents to enable preventative and corrective measures to be implemented.
