Complementing cold store projects, ISD provides comprehensive passive fire control systems. Our 60-min to 240 min rated firewalls have been applied in cold stores, data stores, distribution centres, food and meat processing and commercial facilities. These innovative firewalls are an advanced replacement for jumbo stud or block walling. Faster to install, they are more aesthetically pleasing and completely demountable for re-use or re-positioning. In the event of an accident, the repair and maintenance of ISD firewalling is faster, cleaner and more easily installed than traditional wall systems. In terms of size, there are no limits; and are equally applicable to smaller facilities or in larger premises. Specialist applications include ISD fire-rated enclosures for divisional wall for staff protection, data storage, and storing charged containers, beer kegs and aerosols. Our enclosures are found at distribution centres, storage facilities and on manufacturers’ sites. In all these activities, ISD draws on its well-established project management skills-base. From the start of every project, ISD pays close attention to the detailed building works. By applying this method, installation of the walling will be maintained within the client’s programme of works. ISD offers a complete management facility and a selection of packages right down to cost management of the design, installation and warranties. Panels are sourced from UK suppliers to provide easier logistics and regularity of supply. Through careful selection, the selected panels will meet even the most discerning client’s individual demands. ISD are currently undertaking the LPS1500 accreditation and are working with BRE to ensure that the application will soon be approved.
